Anygram, Nice App for Making Friend Abroad

Anygram, Nice App for Making Friend Abroad

Anygram, Nice App for Making Friend Abroad - I'm gonna share my experience using anygram. Do you know this app? This one is almost resemble with interpals. Such a place to find friends overseas. Actually, I have more interest with interpals.net, but since it doesn't have application on google playstore, then I found anygram instead, so I decided to download anygram. At a glance, anygram is a social chat like kakaotalk, line, etc. After all, it's an app for them who wanna find pals/friends for any intention, for example, language exchange, friendship, snail-mail friends. Me, of course, I used anygram for improving my english, so I looked for native speaker from english country.

There are some features on anygram and I feel like to share them all. Hope this review will be useful :)

1. Personal Information
In this part, you'll be able to find other's information and also you can write your brief bio there, such as name, country of origin, native language, other language(s) to learn, ages, interest (e.g. coffee, travelling, farming, snail mail, friendship, language exchange), and the most important, profile picture (though I never set my profpic originally).

2. Personal rating
Beneath personal information, we can find user's rating in chatting with other users. It's to give us information how active and homely our new friend is. If the rating shows high appearance, it means that the user has had many chats before. It can be concluded that his account isn't fake, an active user and friendly person. I should say it, because not all of anygram users are friendly enough to response our regards. In the other hand, person with low rating, doesn't mean have bad reputation. In my case, I have 0% anygram rating, but I ain't such an apathetic either outrageous person. It's only because I don't have enough time to take care of the messages received.

3. Updating some posts
Like facebook, anygram let its users to post picture, video and text. I could give comment or expression of my friend's post. Within this feature, I had many topics to be discussed with my friend. More interesting, anygram has "correction" feature. Once I posted my text in any certain language, in this case I used english, my friend could correct its spelling or grammar. Me too, I also could correct friend's posts.

4. Chatting with new friend
After knowing one's personal information, we can get to know more each other by personal chatting, or leaving a message on mailbox. This is the best thing at all, because we can talk to native speaker directly. We'll be forced to speak english, no matter what. If you like another space to discuss, you can ask your pals to move to email, snail mail, or others. By my experience, I talked more with a friend from Pakistan on whatsapp instead. At any rate, that's more convenience than chatting on anygram.

I've made some friends. I'll tell you. One of them is a girl from US. She joined the airforce, her hair is quite short, and she is a native english speaker. We talked about our occupation. But since anygram doesn't too fit for personal chatting, we decided to talk further by facebook and instagram.

My second friend is a little sister from Turkey. Even though we should be spent long time for a short chat (cause this app was really heavy to load and our each own business took us long time to reply). We discussed interesting thing; Drama. At first, I asked her if she liked turkish drama such as elif, cansu and hanzal, and others. But surprisingly, a turkish herself didn't watch their own dramas. Instead of that, she watched many korean dramas as well. So we talked excitedly about descendant of the sun, a high-rated korean drama at that time.

And for the last, the most long-lasting too, my third friend is a man from Pakistan who worked in Brunei Darussalam. He said Hi to me first. And again, because an outdated reason, we moved to whatsapp for better discussion. Then we talked much about our life, what we do every day, sending voice messages, and etc. Unfortunately, since I caught up with my job, I couldn't keep in touch with him anymore.

Then I wanna give you some important tips when using anygram. First, be honest in writing your personal info but don't too over to give your private information. Second, look for friend carefully. You'd better can differ a good or bad pals one to be involved. Third, be polite! You can leave them who seems annoying, but don't say anything bad. For the last, it will be hard to get friend's response at first. But you should keep an eye out for friends that fit to your interest.

That's all my review based on my experience using Anygram, Nice App for Making Friend Abroad. How about yoy? Is there any same experience on it? Share some with me then :D
